One of the beech trees in the Southern Black Forest that got it’s shape from the steadily blowing west wind.
Photo from last winter (still have a lot of these). Hope I can visit this place very soon again.
Black Forest
from above
View over the Northern Black Forest from the Mummelsee (about 1.000m / 3.300ft.). Winter has arrived. Yay!
restless
Yesterday, I realized I haven’t posted a photo for one month! OMG, time flies by so fast! Continue reading “restless”
humid
Another one from the recent Black Forest tour with flickr buddy rajue.
Schwarzwaldsprudel
Still the best thirst quencher when hiking ….
Does anyone use PicLens? Really cool to view photoblogs or your flickr contact’s photos or flickr explore or something else including photos.
haze
Last weekend flickr fellow Rajue visited me for some hours. Though the weather was really bad we decided to drive up to the Black Forest to take some misty/mystic photos in the forest. We got really wet and dirty, but hey: we didn’t care. 🙂
Hope you’re all doing fine.
Goodbye winter
Last snow for this winter, I guess. Took this photo a few days ago in the Black Forest.
Interesting, how different this scene looks in summer and winter. Here’s the summer version from last year (also taken wit ND filter):Â coming down to earth
I’ll be offline from Saturday evening on. We’ll spend 2 weeks on a beautiful island. Be surprised. 🙂
water & rocks
Another one from last week. I visited the waterfalls of Triberg in the Southern Black Forest. Like my last post, this is a long exposure taken with a ND-filter. Exposure time was 32 sec.
speed
Had no internet connection for 8 days now cause my ISP cares a sh** about its customers. Anyway, I’m back. Faster than ever …
Took this picture last week on a trip through the Black Forest. It’s a long exposure taken with the famous NDx400. 🙂
Hope you’re all OK.
Goodbye 2007
Last one from the beech tree series at the Schauinsland, Black Forest …. (maybe). 🙂
Well, 2007 is almost over and I would like to thank everyone I was in contact with last year. Thank you for all your comments, thoughts, discussions, criticism, wishes, views, hugs, smilies and last but not least: Thank you for sharing your photos on your photoblog. I really enjoyed viewing your photos and reading your thoughts. I wish you all a good start into 2008!
Cheers,
Matthias
