This is the lighthouse of Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe and the Eurasian landmass. I’ve been there a few days ago during a short trip to Lisbon, Portugal. You can read more about Cabo da Roca at Wikipedia. Next destination: northernmost. Somewhen.

Wonderful place …

The cross light of Norddorf, Amrum. Height: 8m / 26ft. A pretty windy place up there with a wonderful view over the North Sea (which you don’t see cause it’s behind me. ).
