Another photo of Lake Lucerne, Switzerland.
Just stumpled upon this nice photo (in my opinion) when cleaning the archive (=deleting photos). I took this back in January in Saas Fee, Switzerland. This is a part of the mountain named Allalinhorn (4.027 m / 13.212 ft).
On Saturday B and me visited a farm close to our home where they have some Icelandic horses. This one was really curious and almost kissed my lens.
A view of the Vierwaldstättersee (Lake Lucerne) in Switzerland. The “Lake of the Four Forest Cantons” (german translation of Vierwaldstättersee) is surrounded be the 4 original cantons Uri, Schwyz, Unterwalden and Lucerne.
The dark and cold days are coming ….
About the photo: last week we spend some days in Switzerland and visited some really nice places. This photo was taken from the Furkapass (2.436 m / 7.992 ft.) looking westwards. The highest mountain in the center is the Finsteraarhorn (4.274 m / 14.022 ft.). The lake in the foreground is the Totensee (Death Lake) [...]
