flying high

On Sunday, we have been in the alps with some good friends for tandem paragliding. I enjoyed two wonderful flights with one of my best friends as my pilot.
In the picture you can see the mountain “Schattenberg” over which we flew several times (sometimes very close). The picture is taken from the station “Höfatsblick” on the mountain “Nebelhorn”. I also took a few shots with my point-and-shoot camera during the flights but these are only snapshots. Maybe I find a good one to upload later.

Thanks for all the kind comments on my recent pictures.

wonderfully epic romantic image – i am woefully lacking in any knowledge of photography but i think you capture some of the grandeur of the german Caspar David Friedrich – and more so because you were flying above – beautiful.

Absolutely stunning. We have no mountains on the East Coast of America… I am highly jealous. The blues and greens play off one another quite well here.
