Another view from the mountain “Nebelhorn”. Up there you can only hear the wind blowing and the cows ringing with their bells in the distance.
On Sunday, we have been in the alps with some good friends for tandem paragliding. I enjoyed two wonderful flights with one of my best friends as my pilot.
Same waterfall as in this shot but this one is taken with a 100mm telephoto lens from a totally different position. When I took the wide angle version I stood on the green mossy rock on the right hand side. Can’t decide which one I like more, the wide angle or the telephoto …
Please don’t ask me what that is. I really don’t know. Looks like it fell off the sky … it’s about 6 ft. tall. Whatever, I found it quite interesting to photograph.
This evening I’ve been out with a photo buddy and we found an abandoned platform at a lake. I guess it had been used to dig up gravel. I find it always very interesting to see such old and decayed stuff and to imagine how it has been used. Additionally these objects give a good [...]

Can’t resist to upload another shot of that lake. I think I’m seriously addicted to that scene. I tried to blend the 3 exposures manually but it didn’t work. So, this is a HDR image again.
This is a chapel in Karlsruhe called “Grabkapelle” (grave chapel) which is the last home of 17 family members of the House of Zähringen. It was built from 1889-1896, the last funeral was in 1952. It has never been a church. I guess in 100 years it’s totally green.
